Onibana Taiko member Noriko Kobayashi will be offering two different beginner Taiko classes at the Moberly Arts and Culture Centre
Class One: traditional taiko drumming classes, featuring the piece Miyake, for all ages.
Learn traditional Japanese drumming (taiko) on real Japanese drums! Get a full body workout with a world music drumming experience, and work towards a performing opportunities. Beginners to drumming are welcome. Drum sticks and drums are provided.

This is an introduction to taiko drumming class geared towards children. Includes rhythm training, team building, and confidence growing within a world music context. We will work towards a performance on Japanese taiko drums made for children.
